Anthony Meagher’s practice concentrates on the arbitration and litigation of construction claims, the negotiation of construction contracts and the litigation of other commercial disputes. He regularly represents developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and manufacturers in construction claims and product defect litigation. He has litigated and arbitrated construction claims throughout the country and internationally and has utilized mediation to successfully resolve numerous significant disputes. He also is a trained mediator.
Representative major engagements include representation of:
- An international cement company in claims relating to major cement-plant redevelopment project in Texas
- An international EPC contractor in claims relating to US chemical plant project in Texas
- The owner of the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan in construction matters relating to its redevelopment
- Two National Football League franchises in connection with construction of their new football stadiums
- A steel supplier on the construction of two new interstate bridges in New York
